Porta Cavalja is a magnificent mansion resort with extensive grounds, pools, bars and restaurants, on the border of Golem, Durres, that is now the home of a four star hotel, spa and cycling club. Keeping such a site secure and safe poses a number of challenges that CSP was quick to rise to that challenge.
Porta Cavalja needed a comprehensive surveillance system that would keep its guests, staff, buildings and grounds safe. CSP’s team of specialists analyzed the building and its environs and determined that at least 40 security cameras needed to be installed to provide total coverage of the internal and external spaces. But how could they avoid major installation works, disruption, and damage to the aesthetics of the site?
The Security Manager explains; “CSP proposed a competitively-priced IP surveillance system that matched our requirements perfectly. They led the project from the start, giving us advice on the types of cameras that we would need, and where they should be placed for comprehensive yet unobtrusive coverage. Installation caused minimal disruption, as all cameras are linked to our server network.”
Mr. Begolli continues, “We can access every single camera quickly and easily, from any computer, tablet, smartphone as and when we want. Large screens in the security office display live images from every part of the 15,000 m2 grounds 24 hours a day.”
- Crime prevention: “All entrances and exits are monitored, and in the unlikely event of a theft or intruder, we can rely upon the IP cameras to provide clear, high resolution images.”
- Site monitoring: “The system has proved invaluable for making sure that our extensive grounds are safe and well-maintained.
- Day-to-day operations: “We can keep an eye on operations across the entire site quickly and easily, monitoring staff activity and checking that all systems are running smoothly.”
